For $3,200 why not?
I found this one up in the Minneapolis area and my Dad graciously agreed to go check it out for me (my folks live there). It was part of an estate sale and the family was simply looking to get rid of it before the snow started to fly. They were asking $3,750, we offered $3,000, and they countered at $3,200.
The bike hadn’t been ridden for about two years prior and had been stored underneath a cover. As such, some of the non-ferrous metal components are a bit corroded and the powdercoat is flaking off the primary cover and swingarm. Mechanically its perfect. From October ’18 to January ’19 I was able to put about 600 miles on it, mainly to/from work.

As of July 2019 the bike has been sold.  The repairs and improvements I made to the bike are all documented within the blog. I was able to sell the bike for $5,000 and had only invested about $3,600 total into the bike to acquire it and fix it up.  That left about $1,400 extra bucks in my pocket.  Another fun way to look at it is that I got paid about one dollar for every mile I rode it.

Deal done, onto the next one.
